Dr.Trusha Patel graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors degree in Micro Biology. She was also the recipient of a dental degree from the same university. Dr Patel continued on to the University of Illinois Dental School at Chicago, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Sciences in 1992.

Upon completion, Dr Patel was able to practice dentistry. However, she decided to gain more experience by participating in the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. There she worked with patients with problems ranging from cancer to sports injuries. The experience with working in a hospital expanded her knowledge and has enabled her to build a career in dentistry.

After her residency program, Dr Patel began working in Schaumburg and Deerfield, IL. She branched out on her own and opened a practice in Bloomingdale, IL. in September of 1996. Dr. Patel's philosophy is to make the dental visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and to dispel the notion of fear that has long been associated with dentistry.
